Dennis, “DMac”, started his firefighting career on September 4, 1980 with the Nesquehoning Hose Co . No. l and Nesquehoning Ambulance Corp. He then joined the United States Air Force where he survived our country on active duty for 21 and a half years . Wherever he was stationed, Dennis continued to serve his local community as a volunteer and paid firefighter. After retiring from the military in 2005 , Dennis , his wife Karen and daughter Kelsey relocated back to Pennsylvania as Dennis started his second life as the District Safety Coordinator for PennDOT Engineering District 5.
